Using Padlet For Group Projects

In this week we were given an interesting task. We were asked to create groups of four and create a KWL Chart on Padlet about the topics given. The KWL Chart is abıut making three columns titled "What We Know," "What We Want to Know" and "What We Learned." We chose "migration" as our topic as there was a lot to learn. We used websites for researching our questions and avoided wiki sites as they are not very trustable.

Even though this was a group project it was more individual as everyone made their own researches. Therefore, we didn't even need to meet up and I think it would be good for traditional classrooms as they can easily make this project at home with their peers without facing communication obstacles. Additionally, Padlet is so easy to use and personalize; thus, I had a lot of fun while creating it.

It wasn't my first time using Padlet and every time I use it I learn new methods on how to use this app and how student-friendly this website is.

It can be used for many things such as brainstorming, organizing your thoughts, homework, etc.

In terms of 21st-century learning, this project has so many elements like collaboration, communication, critical thinking, creativity, and so on. Therefore I think it is a very useful tool.

One thing I like about the internet is how you learn lots of other things when researching for something. This project let us learn more than we researched individually as each team member asked unique questions and they were all in one place for us to learn.
